Southern Illinois and Shawnee National Forest, May 16-18, 2008


During its 2-1/2 day itinerary, this trip will visit unique areas of the Shawnee National Forest, the Union County
Conservation Area, Ft. Massac State Park, Mermet Lake Conservation Area, Heron Pond Nature Preserve,
and Cypress Creek National Wildlife Refuge. Attendees will overnight in Murphysboro and Metropolis.
Participation Donation: $50 per person (IAS members) or $65 per person (non-members).

Registration fees are totally tax-deductible and do not include transportation, food, or lodging. Profits from this
field trip are designated to the IAS Land Acquisition Fund for protection and preservation of natural areas in
Illinois.
