Witness bird banding in action. Ornithologist Vern Kleen will demonstrate and explain the importance of bird banding.
Nature Walks (10 am and 11 am)
Enjoy a guided nature walk on the trails at
Adams Wildlife Sanctuary.
Family Activities (9 am to 1 pm)
Learn about migration with fun activities like “The Migration Game” a larger-than-life migration experience where YOU are the bird. Geared for all ages.
Bird Hike at Carpenter Park (8 am to approx noon)
Search for migrants passing through and arriving summer residents. Meet in the main parking lot. Easy walking on trails. Trip Leader: Bill Atwood.
